Bugpolo is a ball passing game played in a swimming pool with floating soccer type goals (same as water polo).

Ball handling skills, similiar to netball etc.,  are an advantage.

Players float in streamlined inflatable chairs called "bugs" and propel themselves by kicking with their feet (fins supplied) and paddling with their hands.

Bugpolo is a non contact sport.

The game is designed to be fun, to cater for mixed teams of all ages and abilities and also to provide an excellent workout for the players.

It is however still a fledgling sport and relies heavily on input from players for it's development and evolution.

To partake in the game all you need to bring is a towel, swimming gear and lots of enthusiasm. All other gear is provided by Bug Sports Club.
